Dance Theatre of Harlem Chicago Theatre reviews
A7X Stole the Show
"Had a great time at First Midwest Bank Amp for our first visit, coming from Fort Wayne, IN. Good seats in section 104, row G, seats 13 & 14, with easy parking and no issues leaving. Even though we arrived late, we caught HellYeah rocking the Jager stage, what a band! Halestorm, whom we've seen thrice, is improving. Stone Sour and A7X were phenomenal. A7X's stage show, beginning with a man 'hanging' himself during Nightmare, was one of the best we've witnessed. The dramatic stage set and impressive set list left us wanting more. Our fourth Dance Theatre of Harlem show was in the Chicago area; while musically tight, it felt like just another performance. We expected more, especially playing for the 'home crowd,' but they only played for an hour before heading to Buffalo. Looking ahead, Uproar could become the next Mayhem Festival, and we hope to see it in Indy next year."
